The whole world is a bird's bathroom.
Micah
Think about it. What freedom is right before our eyes. Yes, there's the obvious freedom. The caged bird sings for its freedom to fly. That's pretty obvious to the naked eye but did you ever contemplate the surrounding freedoms a bird has at its "disposal?" The whole world is its bathroom, also its kitchen, living room, laundry, shower, everything he could possible need, God has set right there in front of it. They just have to retrieve it. There's a Bible passage that says to man, look at how the Lord provides for a sparrow, and not one falls from the sky without Him knowing about it. Now how much more do you think He cares for you? Great reminder. They may not all be this profound but it's a great start.
Wisdom of a 7 year old

This blog
Hello. My name is Steve Mason. How are you. Great. Me too. This blog spot is for everyone but especially anyone who appreciates the wisdom that sometimes comes "out of the mouths of babes." While these events are amusing, I have found through the years that they also can be astonishing; deep, intriguing, symbolically fascinating, and yes, wise. Sometimes they are just funny, and that's enough. Sometime. As the proud Father of two astonishingly (love that word) wise, yet foolish, playful, yet intense (you get the idea) boys, I realize that this is an age they will soon outgrow and will cease to speak in such grand statements once they become teens and have it all figured out. My eleven year old, Isaiah is almost there. Micah, my 7 year old still has the wonder of a child. I thought I would document as much as I could and one day cash in on a book he was unaware he wrote. Yeah, that may never happen, but if you can appreciate the wondering and wandering mind of a child, you'll appreciate this blog, or book, or whatever it turns out to be. Thanks for being here.
I'm sure I will borrow from other kids along the way. I wouldn't want to limit our experience here. So here we go with my first entry.
